How to Apply
It is imperative that you read and follow the guidelines for each specific grant carefully. We encourage you to use the RPG, MAYS and SURF Program Description and Guidelines to prepare your application. Your application should be written in collaboration with your faculty mentor. Your mentor should assist you in preparing your budget; the more precise you can be with figures, the better, and you should use college-wide per diem rates.
All applications must be submitted through Qualtrics. Qualtrics is a secure survey software available to all faculty, staff and students at the College of Charleston. There will be a unique Qualtrics link for each application cycle. The Final Report will also be completed through a Qualtrics link. Qualtrics will automatically collect the necessary signatures from your Faculty Mentor(s) and Department Chair(s). Therefore, it is essential that you enter the CORRECT CofC faculty email addresses in order to complete the application process. When you are ready to submit your application, find the Qualtrics link for the appropriate application cycle.
If you experience challenges uploading documents to Qualtrics, you may use SecureShare to securely share files with urca@cofc.edu. You may also email urca@cofc.edu with any questions or concerns.
