Student Recognition
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences celebrates students in a variety of ways. Two of our most distinguished groups are HSS Ambassadors and HSS Scholars.
Ambassadors
A select group of HSS Ambassadors officially represent their departments at programs and events each year. These talented students are excited about describing their majors to prospective students, answering questions and sharing their experiences in and out of the classroom.
Scholars
Prior to graduation, the HSS Scholars Awards Ceremony celebrates two outstanding seniors in each of the undergraduate major programs in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Faculty, students, family and friends gather to recognize their stellar achievements at the College of Charleston.
