Research Protections and Compliance
The Research Protections and Compliance program promotes the responsible conduct of research through education, College of Charleston policies and procedures, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The office provides support for the Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Research Participants (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).
