Undergraduate Student Registration Times

The registration entry date schedule is based on earned hours. This does not include the hours in which you are currently enrolled.

During your assigned registration time, you can register via the Registration Tools Tile in MyPortal

Fall 2024

Registration for Fall 2024 begins on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 by assigned entry date for all currently enrolled undergraduate students.

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time on the designated dates listed below.

Registration closes each day at 11:59 p.m.; it re-opens the next morning at 7:30 a.m.

Registration Tool will be available for all currently enrolled students, regardless of earned hours, everday starting on April 10 from 7:30 AM until 11:59 PM. 

NOTE: During New Student Orientation, Registration Tools are NOT availabe for Currently Enrolled Students. New Student Orientation begins June 17, 2024. 

After June 17, 2024, Registrations Tools will be available to all students:

July 1 - July 7

July 27 - August 11

August 14 - Drop/Add Deadlines

Summer 2024

Registration for all summer sessions (Maymester, Extended Summer, Summer I and Summer II) for all current College of Charleston students opens at 7:30 AM (EDT) on Thursday, March 14.  

Preparing Your Registration Plan

Don't wait until the last minute to begin preparing your registration plan! Students who have not declared a major should contact the Academic Advising & Planning Center at 843.953.5981 for an appointment.

Students who have declared a major should contact their faculty advisor(s) for an advising appointment.

Students should also be sure to satisfy any registration holds on their account.
