Research Interests
I research how students learn neuroanatomy through networks and connectivity and develop evidence-based tools to support that learning (Show Me the Brain!!). My work bridges cognitive neuroscience (memory transformation, reactivation) and educational data science, developing software, curricula, and classroom experiments that enhance retention, transfer, and scientific reasoning.

Build-A-Brain Lab
Nick Hindy was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation to develop an open-source, web-based platform teaching neuroanatomy to students in psychology and neuroscience courses. The platform, called Build-A-Brain, will help students to better understand the brain and nervous system.
