Research Interests
Dr. Chaffin’s research interests are in diverse and equitable teaching and learning strategies and in the fields of American politics and public administration on examining public policy impacts on diverse and vulnerable populations, state politics and policy, political economy, minority politics and civic engagement efforts through higher education programs, including for individuals who are justice impacted and programs that support re-entering citizens.
