Andrew Garnar earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and primarily works with the tools of American pragmatism to make sense of the ethical and social implications of technology. He also dabbles in the philosophy of science and continental philosophy. He published Pragmatism, Technology, and the Persistence of the Postmodern and co-edited with Ashley Shew Feedback Loops: Pragmatism about Science and Technology.
