Citation Appeals

If you believe you were issued a parking citation in error, complete a Parking Citation Appeal Form within 15 calendar days of the citation issuance date. Submit the form to Campus Services HQ.

  • Students, faculty and staff members may file an appeal online via MyPortal by clicking on the Parking tile.
  • Guests may request an appeal form by contacting Campus Services HQ at 843.953.1100 or campusservices@cofc.edu

Appeal forms are available in-person at Campus Services HQ (162 Calhoun St.) and at Public Safety. 

Parking Adjudication Board


The Parking Adjudication Board will review all appeals and make a decision to uphold the citation, reduce the fine or dismiss the citation. Persons submitting an appeal form will receive written notice of the board's decision. All fines must be paid within 10 calendar days of the board's decision. The board's decision constitutes the final decision on the matter and there is no option for a second appeal.

The Parking Adjudication Board is made up of three individuals who represent our faculty, our staff and our student body, and are not employees of Campus Services HQ or Public Safety.
