What To Bring
You should bring the following items with you to new student orientation:
- pen and paper
- transcripts or course descriptions from other universities, if you have transfer credits that have not been evaluated yet | Note: Transfer students should bring any transcript or course-description information to their advising appointment if they have transfer credit that has not been evaluated.
- some type of government-issued, picture ID
- College of Charleston student ID number
- spending money
- MyPortal log-in information and password (you will be using campus computers to register so make sure you have this somewhere other than your phone or laptop)
- campus email address and password
- an umbrella
- comfortable clothes/shoes
- a sweater, jacket or sweatshirt (classrooms can be chilly)
