Each year, the College of Charleston's Department of Music presents a wide array of public performances, featuring our talented studetns, world-class visiting artists and our distinguished faculty.
In addition to our series of events, our students and faculty also perform for Charleston's Piccolo Spoleto Festival each spring.

Piccolo Spoleto Young Artists Series
The Piccolo Spoleto Young Artists Series features emerging artists in the area. These advanced College of Charleston students perform concerts ranging from classical and jazz ensembles to voice recitals and a new steel band. The events take place at 12 noon at the Recital Hall in the College of Charleston School of the Arts newly renovated Simons Center for the Arts.

International Piano Series
The International Piano Series is Charleston’s longest running, season-long program with a pure focus on piano. Performers range from young professionals emerging onto the world stage to seasoned artists with long-established careers.

From jazz to opera to chamber music, enjoy the talents of our own faculty-artists, as well as guest performers.

CofC Ensembles
CofC Ensembles include performances by students and local musicians in our orchestra, choirs, opera, Latin American music ensemble and new steelband.

Charleston Music Fest is a year-round celebration of the finest classical chamber music performed by world-class artists.
