Comparing the College to Other Institutions

Institutional Research has selected the following 5 comparison groups for the College of Charleston, built on the most common requests for comparative data: SACSCOC Peers, Aspirational Peers, South Carolina institutions, Top Competitors and the Coastal Athletic Association.

Most of the data were obtained from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).  Other public data sources include institutions' Common Data Sets and U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges rankings.
