Health Services Administration & Management
Healthcare organizations, and the services they provide, are vital to the well-being of individuals and communities. Through this program, students will study both healthcare and business principles, gaining the ability to make data-drive solutions to deliver efficient and high-quality healthcare services. Students will also learn the skills needed to evaluate systems through data analysis and develop policies geared toward creating better healthcare organizations.

Experiential Learning in Health Services Administration & Management
Through a carefully crafted curriculum, Health Services Administration and Management majors have access to many diverse experiential and individualized learning opportunities, helping students link theoretical concepts to clinical practice.
Research
Faculty mentored research is one example of individualized student learning. Interested students are encouraged to reach out to faculty to express an interest in assisting with research.
Interships & Independent Studies
Internships and independent studies are another option for individualized student learning. Students have the opportunity to earn repeatable course credit for workplace training at local, reputable healthcare organizations within the greater Charleston area.
