Research Interests

The broad theme of my research is to understand the structural, geophysical, and geochemical signatures of continental crust, and how it relates to North American tectonics, modern topography, and seismic hazards. This typically involves a multidisciplinary approach that blends magnetic, gravity, and seismic imaging, geo- and thermochronology, and structural/geomorphic analysis. Other areas of interest include the evolution of continental plateaus and basins, dynamic exhumation of topography, and tectonic manifestations of the Supercontinent Cycle.
