Small classes foster lively discussion, close analysis and the development of intellectual community.
You'll have opportunities for internships outside of academia. In-college teaching allows you to customize your education.
The College of Charleston is no longer admitting students into the MA in English due to discontinuation of the MA in English degree program, pending final approval by SACSCOC. Students interested in joining our final cohort beginning in Fall 2024 are invited to apply through The Citadel. This option to apply through The Citadel is only available for students who are able to attend in person.
