Joe Kelly
Director of Irish and Irish American Studies
Joe Kelly joined the faculty at the College of Charleston in 1992. He is the co-director of the President's Diversity Commission. He directed the masters program from 2003-2007 and was Speaker of the Faculty from 2007-2010; currently, he is a Senator for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has chaired numerous faculty committees, most recently the Honors committee. He teaches modern British literature, Irish literature, composition, biography and autobiography, Honors western civilization.
