Program Information
Take a close look at what drives criminal behavior, examine the consequences of crime, and question how we as a society can do better in our legal responses to combat crime.
From criminology and justice to forensics and civil liberties, you'll explore topics to compliment your major, prepare for your career, or help further your studies in graduate or law school.
Our interdisciplinary minor provides you with a broad range of courses in political science, sociology, psychology, philosophy and history as well as interdisciplinary elective courses in topics such as forensics and cybersecurity.
Your 18-hour minor includes two required courses (POLI 203 Criminal Justice and SOCY 341 Criminology), three electives, and a capstone internship where you'll gain real-life experience working in law enforcement, in the legal field, or with victims of crime.
