Research Interest
Dr. Yu’s research focuses on (1) investigating the effectiveness of immersive media in communicating environmental issues, delivering environmental knowledge, and enhancing pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors; (2) analyzing the role of immersive media in enhancing preparedness and responses to natural hazards and climate risks; and (3) applying computational methods to manage and analyze social media data.
