Program Cost
Payments are submitted to Trident Technical College (TTC) for the program fee, campus housing, the meal plan, and tuition and fees. This is due August 1. Students with an outstanding balance or still have financial aid requirements to complete with TTC, may enroll in a fall semester payment plan with TTC until the requirements are completed.
No payment for the fall semester, with the exception of the initial deposit to participate and the housing application fee, should be sent to the College of Charleston.
There are several Payment Options to pay tuition and fees to Trident Technical College for Charleston Bridge.
In-person
Pay in person at one of TTC’s Business offices at Thornley, Berkeley, Palmer, or Mount Pleasant campuses.
Online
Use Student Self-Service in the TTC portal to make payment.
To enroll in a TTC Tuition Payment Plan
- Log into the TTC student portal.
- Click on TTC Self Service.
- Click on Student Finance.
- Under Student Finance click on Nelnet Enterprise.

- Charleston Bridge participants are not eligible for a deposit waiver or housing/meal plan application fee waiver.
- Only the initial deposit ($400) and housing application fee ($50) are paid to the College of Charleston. The fall tuition & fee payment, including the housing and meal plan fee, is paid to Trident Technical College. The deadline to pay the balance or establish a payment plan is August 1. All payments should be sent to Trident Technical College. Do not send payments to the College of Charleston.
- All fees are non-refundable. This includes the deposit ($400), the housing application fee ($50), and the program fee ($1450). If a Bridge student moves into the residence hall and then withdraws from the program (voluntary or involuntary) they are responsible for the full semester housing and meal plan charges for the fall.
- Totals in the chart above do not include any scholarships, lab fees or the $17.30 registration fee.
- Payment, financial aid and midterm/final grades are accessed using Trident Technical College's student portal.
- A lab fee may apply to certain fall courses.
- Fall Financial Aid is awarded by Trident Technical College. Aid notices from TTC will be sent to the student's TTC email.
- Fall tuition only may be refunded by Trident Technical College if the full withdrawal from the program occurs during the drop/add period.
- If a student totally withdraws from the program after moving in, the remaining fees (housing, meal plan, program fee) should be paid to Trident Technical College. Once paid, TTC will work with the College of Charleston Treasurer to clear the remaining balance.
- The full amount for the fall housing and meal plan at the College of Charleston must be paid if a student totally withdraws from the program during the fall semester.
- Books & Supplies for fall are estimated at $1300-$1500. To order books go to http://bookstore.tridenttech.edu/. Before ordering books with the Trident Technical College bookstore, have the TTC student ID number and the class schedule with course and section numbers available. Charleston Bridge courses are all designated with the letter X in front of the section number.

Students admitted to CofC for spring pay CofC tuition & fees. Financial Aid is awarded through College of Charleston's Financial Assistance & Veteran Affairs. The financial aid award notice for spring is sent to the student's College of Charleston email.
