Research Interests

I am a plant physiological ecologist.  My interests are diverse and include the following topics: 

  • Understanding how global environmental changes will influence forest function with emphasis on quantifying controls of carbon and nitrogen flow through the atmosphere-plant-soil microbe continuum.
  • Sustainable agriculture
  • Hydroponics
  • Physiological ecology of annual and perennial crops
