In Model African Union, students learn how diplomacy works in Africa and how African countries solve common problems of democracy, development, and conflict.

The International Model African Union Conference in Washington, D.C. provides a unique opportunity for college students to study the role, structure and activities of the African Union as well as the capabilities and constraints that shape the policies of AU member states in the arena of intra-African diplomacy.

Each participating university represents one or more Member State of the African Union.
