The African American Studies Program supports faculty and student research and events through generous donations from you. 

The African American Studies Program (R717) Fund supports faculty and student research as well as professional development. This includes activities such as gathering data in the field and attending conferences to present research findings. Your financial contribution will help us expand opportunities for both students and faculty fostering their involvement in joint projects.  

Give to African American Studies

To make a gift directly to African American Studies, follow these steps: 

  1. Visit the giving website.
  2. Select "Other" in the Designation dropdown menu.
  3. In the How Would You Like to Direct Your Donation? box that will appear, specificy "R717 – African American Studies.”
