Research Interests

Foreign Language Learning (FLL) I like to provide multiple ways for students to engage in course activities. I try to include flexible and different ways to allow students to express their knowledge or demonstrate their skills.  

Teaching Culture in the Foreign Language Classroom. I like to provide insight into different cultures.  It is important to develop citizens with cultural understanding and awareness of other’s views of the world, their way of life and their contributions to humankind. The demographic changes in the diversity of the population all around us include ethnic and racial diversity, but also linguistic diversity that must be addressed.
