Hello, I'm Johnathan Duhart, and I'm thrilled to join the Academic Advising Planning Center (AAPC) at the College of Charleston as a full-time academic advisor. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I attended Atlanta Metropolitan State College, where I earned an associate's degree in mathematics education and a bachelor's degree in business administration. I later pursued my MBA at Valdosta State University. My professional journey began in education, teaching elementary and middle school students in the Atlanta Public School system. After several years, I transitioned into customer service leadership roles, serving as an operational leader at State Farm Arena, Assistant Manager at the Georgia Aquarium, and District Executive for Target in Charleston, SC. Since moving to Charleston in 2020, I've discovered a wonderful community, met my fiancé, and found a fulfilling career as an academic advisor. Outside of work, I enjoy beach trips, church activities, traveling, and quality time with loved ones. I'm also a proud parent to my four-legged daughter, Grace.
