About Emily Kacer

I am the Assistant Director for Outreach and Programming while also advising students. I have been at CofC since 2019, but have been working in higher education since 2013. I am originally from Northwest Ohio, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University. I then moved to Illinois, where I received my Master’s degree from Western Illinois University. I then moved to Wisconsin for a year before moving to South Carolina.

I spend my free time with my family. We love to check out the parks and pools in our neighborhood, take rides on the golf cart, and watch baseball as it is a huge part of our lives. But when I am at work, I find so much joy getting to be a resource to students who are working on accomplishing their academic goals. I believe CofC has so much to offer its students and I am excited to share all of that with you in our meeting.
