I have worked at the College of Charleston as an Academic Advisor in the Academic Advising and Planning Center for the past 20 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of New Jersey.

My husband also works at CofC as an Associate Professor of Art History, teaching Historic Preservation and Architecture. We have two adult children, our daughter has a BFA in Graphic Design and our son has BA in Computer Science. We also have a very active, inquisitive black cat named Violet.
