Lauren Davila


Adjunct Professor

Lauren Davila received both her BA and MA degrees from the College of Charleston, where she studied History and African American Studies.

While in the MA program at the College of Charleston, she served as Co-President of the Graduate Historical Society and received the Karen Chambers Public History Fellowship at the Avery Research Center.

Her research specialty and scholarship focuses on the history and public memory of enslavement and the domestic slave trade in Charleston.
